TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR OUR DAY EXCURSIONS
Bookings can be made with us by telephoning 01243 773177 or by visiting us at our office. Payment can be taken at the time of booking or we will advise you at the time of booking when payment is required. This is usually one month before excursion or payment on the day. We would ask please that payments due one month before are paid by the due date which will be given to you at the time of booking – thank you. Once a verbal booking is made it will be deemed to be a confirmed booking and we reserve the right to require full payment in the case of cancellation. It is with regret that all cancellations made less than one month from the excursion will be subject to payment in full and we would ask you to let us have this by any of the methods below. We will, of course, do our utmost to resell the booking on your behalf. Payment can be made in cash, cheque or by card either at the office or via the telephone in the case of card payments. Should you wish to transfer your booking to a third party no charge will be made
Cancellation or alteration of Excursion
If any excursion has to be cancelled a full refund will be given but we do not accept any liability for any subsequent loss. Whilst we do our best to ensure that all excursions run as planned there are sometimes factors beyond our control which affect our trips. We reserve the right to make changes to our advertised excursions where we deem it to be in the best interest or safety of the passengers or where situations beyond our control dictate.
All prices in our brochure are inclusive of entrance fees unless otherwise stated. Subject to production of membership cards for National Trust, English Heritage etc. a reduction in the price of the excursion will be made. The existence of membership of such organisations must be made clear at the time of booking. No refreshments are included in the price of the excursions unless otherwise stated. PRIVATE HIRE BOOKINGS
Unless by prior arrangement, all payments for Private Hire bookings must be paid (cleared funds) at least 7 days before the travel date. No reminder for this will be sent. Failure to make payment by the required date may result in cancellation of the hire, with a 50% cancellation fee being levied.
Westrings Travel operate a zero tolerance to alcohol being brought onto the vehicle and will not allow passengers to travel if they are considered to have consumed excessive alcohol or are likely to cause problems to the passengers, driver or vehicle. Valeting or repair charges will be levied to the hirer for any abuse of the vehicle.
Whilst all possible care will be taken to prevent or avoid such occurrences, Westrings Travel do not accept liability for any consequential loss in respect of problems arising during private hires. This includes traffic delays, breakdowns, inaccessibility of venues or pick up points, etc.
